The pace of product innovation accelerated significantly in several areas of the Medtech industry during the pandemic. Innovations that previously would have taken years were compressed into months. Can the industry maintain this pace post COVID-19?

In a February 2021 survey of 128 Medtech executives, nearly four out of five said this level of accelerated development was “definitely” or “most likely” sustainable. However, while the pandemic has created new opportunities for innovation, it won't be easy to maintain the momentum. To succeed, organizations will need to focus on four key areas: finding a common purpose, instituting organizational agility, developing a clear product roadmap and  building effective partnerships.
