Building Bridges: Patient Advocacy Groups Can Be Vital Partners in Clinical Research Trials

ON DEMAND WEBINAR
Duration: 1 hour

Clinical research trials are vital processes for developing new treatments for serious diseases. Successful trials require willing participants, generous sponsors, fully equipped sites and committed contract research organizations (CRO).

Yet, since each of these roles is often all-consuming, it’s not uncommon for them to operate in a vacuum, often losing sight of their common goal.

Patient advocacy groups play a crucial role in helping partners better collaborate and accomplish goals – as they have a deep involvement with and understanding of a particular disease. In this webinar, experts will describe their involvement with patient advocacy organizations and clinical research trials. Listeners will:

  • Develop a greater understanding of how collaboration between the clinical research field and the patient advocacy organization can drive more positive results
  • Learn how to get involved in patient advocacy work
  • Hear examples of a sponsor/research organization that’s been involved
