WEBINAR ON DEMAND
Duration: 1 hour

Energy efficiency is one of the most important ways that utilities can meet steep mandates to reduce carbon emissions, and also to increase grid capacity, flexibility and resilience so they can add more renewables and EVs. Historically, utility energy efficiency has focused on  customer programs for behind-the-meter loads. But today, new technologies (especially advanced voltage optimization) can save substantial energy in front of the meter, across entire distribution grids.

It can be challenging for utilities to find ways to invest in front-of-meter energy efficiency. Collaboration with key stakeholders—including government, regulators and environmental and consumer advocates—can help make innovative projects possible. In this webinar, utilities will learn how to:

  • Foster high-level collaboration, to ensure that technologies with multiple benefits have clear support with fewer bureaucratic hurdles
  • Leverage evolving incentives or requirements to accelerate adoption of cleaner, more efficient grid technologies
  • Collaborate constructively with environmental and consumer advocates, as well as legislators and regulators, to remove obstacles to mitigating climate change and achieve shared goals that benefit all stakeholders
